ANIMALS:
- The San Diego Zoo: http://www.sandiegozoo.org/zoo/visitor_info.html- an excellent site for animal studies - good pictures
- The Animal Alphabet: http://www.nps.gov/yell/kidstuff/Alphabet/index.htm – primary animals web site but has links to more intermediate sites. Also has a colouring book to print and an online colouring book.
- Enchanted Learning (Zoom School) Animal Information: http://www.enchantedlearning.com/coloring/ - Click on the animal category or the letter that the animal name begins with and find loads of information about your chosen animal with black and white printout diagrams that you can colour.
- Kratt's creatures: http://www.pbs.org/kratts/index.shtml - this is a fun site with some neat games for the kids.
- The Switcheroo Zoo: http://www.switcheroozoo.com/- This is a really fun site for kids. You can switch the heads, bodies and legs from different animals to other animals. There is a little bit of animal information and there is an Educators' Resource section with information and lesson plans on how to use this with your class.
